nd rockwall base,\u201d says Delprince. \u201cThese are some of the many reasons this entry was head and shoulders above the rest.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fellow judge Lani Callister, Fresh Flower manager of Ensign Wholesale Floral in Salt Lake City, Utah, echoes his comments. \u201cIt\u2019s a really appealing claret wine color,\u201d she says. \u201cAnd those laterals are amazing. One stem could serve as a focal flower.\u201d
\nJudges at the competition scored each entry based on color and commercial appeal, stem and foliage, bloom form and size, and overall presentation. The judging panel, which included three retailer, three growers and three wholesalers, evaluated specific categories of flowers, and the entry with the highest score won \u201cBest in Class.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danziger also won the blue ribbon prize for Lepidium, Green Dragon\u00ae a magnificent green volume variety that was grown by Skyflowers Colombia. Two red ribbon prizes were awarded to Danziger for its chrysanthemum variety named Passion\u2122 de Almendra\u2122 and for a new cut rose variety named Maggi\u00a0![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.danzigeronline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Green-dragon-232x300.jpg\")
that was grown by Greenrose Ecuador.<\/p>\n
